Journal of Construction Innovation and Cost Management (JCICM) aims at publishing high-quality original research concerning innovations and cost management of the operations, process and products of the construction industry. With cities becoming mega and smart, infrastructures are facing an increasing need to innovate and transform in an era of volatility and disruption. Great changes are stirring humanity at the face due to digital revolution, demographic explosion and changes in climate. Globally, nations and economies, industries and communities, academics and practitioners are recognizing these challenges and opportunities, and are proactively planning for the decades ahead. JCICM is committed to dissecting, discussing and disseminating research outcomes that can inform strategic policy and business decisions and research directions, in the age long tradition of academic writing.

Journal of Construction Innovation and Cost Management (JCICM) is an Open Access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. 

The journal while domiciled at the Department of Quantity Surveying, University of Lagos is a voluntary academic effort from varied researchers in diverse fields across the globe. Its group of editors and editorial board comprises of researchers well-experienced and competent from different Universities of the world. The current editor-in-chief is Prof Sunday Olukayode Oyediran.

SCOPE OF THE JOURNAL

This focus will require interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary debate cutting across academic and professional disciplines. The papers are to reflect a blend of theory, practical industry experiences and best practices around the globe.

The Journal offers comprehensive coverage of construction innovation and cost management of infrastructure projects.
